The Green Score™ categorises users receive personalised reports highlighting the areas where their lifestyle impacts the environment the most, along with practical tips
The Green Score™, a newly launched intelligence system of green-tech start-up Myplan8 has achieved over 10000 users. It is a patented intelligence system owned by the company that let people evaluate their ecological footprint and take actionable steps toward a greener future. Similar to a credit score's assessment of financial credibility, it offers a simplified evaluation of an individual's overall sustainability impact, ranging from 300 (Poor) to 900 (Excellent).
"Our mission is to drive change through collective efforts. We aim to have over 10 lakh users achieve a score above 700, quantifying the positive impact of eco-conscious living and harmonious coexistence with our planet," said Nidhi Mehra, co-founder of Myplan8.
The score categorises users into three groups - poor to average (425-550), average to good (550-625), and higher scores representing a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. Users receive personalised reports highlighting the areas where their lifestyle impacts the environment the most, along with practical tips to reduce their ecological footprint, the company informed.
"One of the unique aspects of the green score is the reward-based ecosystem. Users are rewarded with green credits, actual tradable and exchangeable carbon credits, for every positive action they take to improve their score. Additionally, as their green score improves, they gain access to curated offers and benefits," added Koushik Sur, co-founder of Myplan8.
