Ghodawat Consumer Limited, the fast-moving consumer-good (FMCG) group of Sanjay Ghodawat Group (SCG), has acquired the New Delhi-based start-up To Be Honest (TBH).
Founded in 2017 by the graduates and of IIT and IIM Mayank Gupta, Ritika Agarwal and Anuj Ghanghoria, the company is known for offering vegetables and snacks.
Through this new development, both companies are aiming to serve customers with unique food options. TBH has recently stepped into the ready-to-cook business and is eying to flourish this new venture with the help of Ghodowat Consumer Limited. After the latest deal, TBH will be part of the Impulsive Division of GCL and will work to boost its business.
Talking about the latest development, Shrenik Ghodawat, the managing director (MD) of the GCL, said, “TBH acquisition is very strategic as it gives us an entry into the health-conscious snacking segment. This is also timely given the heightened focus on health and fitness. It is a testament to our commitment to enhancing lives globally.”
