Cognizant signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Garuda Aerospace, a drone start-up in India, to power its drones with advanced digital capabilities.
Both companies are aiming to bring a plethora of end-to-end drone-based management for businesses across sectors.
For instance, the partnership is eying to utilise the management for intelligent water and soil management, crop spraying, and aerial planting in the agriculture sector. Additionally, these drones can be used for asset inspection, storm impact assessment, and fire safety in the energy sector. Lastly, both companies are thinking of conducting video surveillance and inventory audits in warehouse management through this innovation.
Addressing the latest development, Achal Kataria, the vice president and country head of Cognizant, said, "We are excited to collaborate with Garuda Aerospace. Combine our deep industry knowledge with capabilities like advanced data analytics, real-time insights and software development to elevate drone-based solutions and new use cases for enterprises across sectors."
