Laundry and dry-cleaning chain UClean has unveiled its South India expansion plan by establishing over 500 outlets across the region by 2025.

Currently, the laundry chain has a network of 50 outlets spread across South India, including major cities such as Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and its recent addition, Coimbatore.

"The South India market has been incredibly receptive to our services," says Arunabh Sinha, CEO of UClean. "Our growth in this region reaffirms our commitment to delivering top-notch laundry solutions to customers. We are excited to continue expanding our footprint here."

The laundry in India is poised to grow $15 billion by 2025, according to various market reports with a lot of demand coming from tier 1 and tier 2 cities, UClean said in a statement.

UClean is strategically investing in technology to service the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region in addition to its expansion within India. The company wants to reach a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of 1,000 crores by 2025 and will soon provide D2C cleaning goods, according to the statement.
