Meta India appoints Arun Srinivas as Director and Head of Ads Business

He joined the tech company in September 2020 as the Director of Global Business Group where he oversaw business strategy and revenue growth for India

Meta India (formerly Facebook) has appointed Arun Srinivas as Director and Head of the Ads Business. He will be responsible for business strategy and revenue growth for India across all Meta platforms.

Announcing this appointment on Linkedin, Srinivas said, “I’m happy and excited to share that I would be taking over a new role within Meta! - as the Director & Head of the Ads Business for Meta India. In this role, I will oversee business strategy and revenue growth for India across all Meta Platforms, for all businesses, and be a part of the India Leadership Team.” 

Srinivas joined Meta in September 2020 as the Director of Global Business Group. His role encompassed leading the strategy and delivering the India Marketing Solutions division, which is focused on large advertisers and agencies.

He also propelled the company’s strategic relationship with various brands, agencies and partners. This was aimed at driving the tech company’s revenue growth in key channels in India, by partnering with the media and creative ecosystems for accelerating the adoption of digital tools by businesses.  

During this two-decade long experience, Srinivas has worked with companies like Ola Mobility, Unilever, Reebok and investment firm WestBridge Capital Partners in senior leadership roles.
