Health and wellness platform HyugaLife has successfully secured $1 million in funding from existing and new investors.
The capital injection also includes strategic debt financing from renowned partners, Stride Ventures, and Getvantage.
The company added in its statement the funds raised will be deployed to expand operations.
A significant portion of the investment is set to be deployed towards reinforcing the platform's product and technological infrastructure, it added.
Backed by prominent figures— cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, HyugaLife has witnessed an extraordinary surge in its user base in 2023, while achieving an impressive fivefold expansion in its revenue, the company said.
Reflecting on the funding milestone, Sachin Parikh, founder of HyugaLife, said, "We are excited about the opportunities ahead as we leverage this support to drive innovation and enhance user experiences. Additionally, we're offering free nutritionist consultations where experts guide you to the right supplements, further reinforcing our approach to consumer education and building a health-conscious generation for India."
In a bid to further simplify the user experience, The company has introduced ready-made starter supplement packs, streamlining the process for those embarking on their wellness journey, it said.
The company, co-founded by Sachin Parikh (formerly Nykaa), Avni Shahn (formerly Unilever), and Neehar Modi (formerly Amazon) has backing from Peak XV (formerly Sequoia India).
HyugaLife has curated a diverse range of over 10,000 products across 10 categories, spanning health supplements, sports nutrition, health foods, and beyond. These products are directly sourced from 400+ brands, establishing HyugaLife as a comprehensive one-stop destination for health-conscious Indians, the release added.
