With India all set to host the G20 meeting, the country is all set to showcase its technology expansion and achievements to member countries attending this event.
G20 is an international forum to discuss various issues that affect the world. This year, the G20 summit is being held under India's leadership .
In addition to displaying indigenous digital stacks and apps at the event, a Digital India Experience Zone will also be created where attendees can attend the exhibition to see the strides India has made in the realm of technology.
Flagship technology programs such as Aadhaar, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) will is displayed in this experience zone.
Apart from this, a new app named Geeta will also be shown to delegates, which is based on the teachings of the spiritual book Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta, an IT Ministry official announced.
Many other locally developed apps, including DigiLocker, MyGovernment, and Umang will also be shown in the Experience Zone. All these apps provide facilities for e-governance and citizens.
An app named G20 has also been created for delegates attending G20, which will have all information related to this summit. It is available in five UN-recognised languages, including English, German, Japanese, Hindi, and Portuguese.
