GynoCup, a flagship of Mild Cares, has raised undisclosed funding from Meet The Drapers, an US-based start-up investing platform. Founded in 2020, the start-up aims to solve pressing issues for women by serving products related to women’s menstrual, intimate and toilet hygiene.
'Meet The Drapers' is a global platform that helps scale up start-ups that are working to solve pressing issues for women. It is jointly chaired by Bill Draper, Tim Draper and Polly Draper and a judge outside of the Draper family.
GynoCup claimed that it was shortlisted from among two thousand start-ups worldwide to get the funding.
"We at Mild Cares aim to resolve personal issues of women by substituting the traditional methods with safe, sustainable, cost-effective methods, which the company has achieved with its innovative product line- Gynocup,” said Sandeep Vyas, co-founder and CEO of Mild Cares.
“Our efforts in building the product and taking it to the global market have received added momentum with recognition and support from Meet The Drapers. Since its launch in 2020, the product has crossed the mark of $ 2,00,000 in sales. The company is looking to touch R 100 crore in revenue by 2025-26,” he added.
In 2020, the company secured $3 million (Rs 20 crore) in a pre-seed funding round led by Blume Ventures and Omidyar Network India
